Thanks much! So I’ve wrapped up Kariis for final hi-res inspection. There’s still a few superficial details I’d like to address for when I hand off the final file but nothing that’s readily noticable; clean-up, sharpen edges, etc.

So here’s your chance to call out anything else I may have missed.

I added a motion blur to the lower half of the figure to give a sense of movement, so let me know what you think. Other than that we can pretty much call this one wrapped!

As for the next figure, I’m thinking Khadrius Zhoth would be a nice one to work with <spoiler removed>

Cheers!

Behold! Kariis Vara! This has captured the essence of Vara far beyond what I hoped for. I like the changes that you made to the Aria stone as well as the vapor from his left eye. The lion and eagle grip/pommels look great. I am very pleased with all the final details, colors and lighting choices. The book looks really cool. The feathers tied to the ends of the straps look really nice and add even more uniqueness. The tattoos on his feet add a special touch that I think accomplishes everything that we discussed. Awesome!

The only request change I have is regarding the motion blur for the aria stone on the book strap. While I am perfectly fine with the motion blur effect that you decided to add overall, I think that the blur of the aria stone is distracting. You can leave the motion blur as you have it on everything else, but could we just remove it from the Aria stone so that we can get crisper definition of the stone? Please let me know your thoughts on this, whether it is possible or not. Other than that I am completely satisfied.

Thank you for such awesome work Dylan!!

As far as Khadrius Zhoth ,<spoiler removed>. I will begin to review everything that I’ve posted about him and then update the content to include some of the more detailed descriptions that we have for him, then link it to you in Khadrius’ discussion thread.

Great to hear! This was a wonderful character to work on, and I have to tip my hat to you for sticking to your guns on the bare chest. I think it does make for a more unique character design in the end when compared to the rest of the kings.

The blur is a simple fix. I’ll take care of that change while I’m doing my final edits. I think it also blurred a bit on his face so I’ll reduce the effect there as well.

Cheers! And Happy Halloween!
